Frequently Asked Questions

You advertise “Luxury Consignment” - What exactly do you mean?

We offer designer bridal gowns and special occasion dresses. 95% of our bridal gowns, and 30% of our special occasion dresses are NEW. Our "Once-Wed" gowns tend to be high-end designers like Monique Lhuillier, Priscilla of Boston, Melissa Sweet, Vera Wang, and Rivini. Our special occasion gowns and cocktail dresses are typically worn only once, cleaned, and then consigned with us. We strive to consign the very best designers in the latest styles.

Do you take bridal gowns from David's Bridal or custom made gowns?

No, we do not.

What type of discounts over regular retail prices, might I expect to see at Le Dress, Luxury Consignment?

Bridal Gowns that are new with tags, will typically be priced 30-70% below what you see at traditional bridal store in Atlanta. Special Occasion dresses tend to be 50-60% off retail. Our inventory changes daily, so come and see what we have to offer!

Do you offer alterations?

No, but we are happy to refer you to an expert alterations professional for a PERFECT fit.

After I purchase a dress from Le Dress Boutique, may I re-consign it?

Sometimes, we do IF the gown was NEW when we sold it and NOT marked down.  It depends on a lot of factors.  Do not assume that we will.

Will you take accessories?

Absolutely! Our clients are always looking for high quality wraps, handbags, and jewelry.

Do you offer Prom or holiday dresses?

Yes. Prom consignments start in January and ends in February. We accept holiday dresses in August and September.  You  must consign AHEAD of the season.

Do you allow returns?

No, all sales are final and in as-is condition.

I live in another part of the country. Can I consign my dress with you and mail it in?

Yes, if it is NEW! Please upload a photo for pre-approval. We would love to accommodate you.

Where should I get my dress cleaned?

If we accept your gown for consignment and it has NOT been cleaned, we can refer you to a reputable cleaner.  You can fill out your cosnignment agreement, and then drop off you dress at the cleaners for the disocunted price that Le Dress has negotiated for its consignment clients.  We will pick the dress up.  We NEVER recommend heirlooming or preservation, as we find that 6 of 10 preserved gowns are still dirty.

When will I receive a check for my dress?

A. We will send you a check by the 10th of the month following the sale of your items. We will deduct a $1 per check mailing/processing fee from your proceeds.

What if my dress does not sell?
Unsold items must be picked up within 7 days from the end of the consignment period. Any items not picked up within the 7 day window become the property of Le Dress. Unfortunately we have too many consignors to remind you to pick up. Please note the date your consignment ends.
