Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you ask that brides NOT shop Le Dress Boutique first?
Brides typically need to try on gowns at several stores BEFORE being able to make a decision to buy. If you visit other Atlanta bridal shops FIRST, you will be able to compare our low prices, and high quality gown to the gowns you've seen. If you come to Le Dress Boutique first, you won't have a feel for what the same dress costs at other stores. By the time you come back, the dress you loved may be gone.
Do you take bridal gowns from David's Bridal or custom made gowns?
No, we do not.
What type of discounts over regular retail prices, might I expect to see at Le Dress, Luxury Consignment?
Bridal Gowns that are new with tags, will typically be priced 30-70% below what you see at traditional bridal store in Atlanta. Special Occasion dresses tend to be 50-60% off retail. Our inventory changes daily, so come and see what we have to offer!
Do you offer alterations?
No, but we will refer you to an expert alterations professional for a PERFECT fit. Every wedding dress needs some adjustment to make it look its best, and to make you have a carefree wedding day.
After I purchase a dress from Le Dress Boutique, may I re-consign it?
Sometimes, we do IF the gown was NEW when we sold it and NOT marked down. It depends on a lot of factors. Do not assume that we will.
Will you take accessories?
Absolutely! Our clients are always looking for high quality wraps, handbags, and jewelry. We especially love lace edged veils.
Do you offer Prom or holiday dresses?
Yes. Prom consignments start in January and ends in February. We accept holiday dresses in August and September. You must consign AHEAD of the season.
Do you allow returns?
No, all sales are final and in as-is condition.
I live in another part of the country. Can I consign my dress with you and mail it in?
Yes, if it is NEW! Please upload a photo for pre-approval. We would love to accommodate you.
Where should I get my dress cleaned?
If we accept your gown for consignment and it has NOT been cleaned, we can refer you to a reputable dry cleaner. You can fill out your consignment agreement, and then drop off you dress at the cleaners for the discounted price that Le Dress has negotiated for its consignment clients. We will pick the dress up. We NEVER recommend heirlooming or preservation, as we find that 6 of 10 preserved gowns are still dirty.
When will I receive a check for my dress?
A. We will send you a check by the 10th of the month following the sale of your items. We will deduct a $1 per check mailing/processing fee from your proceeds.
What if my dress does not sell?
Unsold items must be picked up within 7 days from the end of the consignment period. Any items not picked up within the 7 day window become the property of Le Dress. Unfortunately we have too many consignors to remind you to pick up. Please note the date your consignment ends.
What if I want to continue to try to sell my dress while you have it on consignment?
We will not accept your dress if you have it listed on any site. Only one of us can sell the dress.
